Zumba For The Cure benefiting the Susan B. Komen Foundations for Beast Cancer Research.
I have been a Wellness Facilitator for 16 years in two separate districts. I also teacher 8th grade science and am an active member of the National Association of Professional Women where I network with other districts to determine the most credible and effective initiatives to implement to our Wellness Program. The Mesquite ISD's mission is to plan, develop, and implement an employee health program designed to help each employee gain a healthy, wholesome lifestyle and to maintain this lifestyle through physical activities, self- awareness, and health educational services. It is my passion to create a culture of wellness.
SOmething I am very proind ot be apart of is the fact that our mammogram screenigns detected 3 employees with 4 breat cancer in enough time to seek medical help which incresaed the effectiveness of their prognosis and ultimately saed their lives.
