As Area Vice President, Wellness Consulting, Ali leads the North Central Region practice at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (Gallagher). A true thought-leader in her field, Ali provides both strategic direction and technical expertise, driving Gallagher's wellness positioning. She is integral to the evolution of our total rewards consulting approach, helping team members understand the value of a strategic wellbeing program when it comes to employers best engaging, retaining and attracting key talent.

Ali leads a team of wellness consultants throughout the Midwest region, providing mentorship, coaching and also serving as the lead consultant on high profile accounts. Ali is also tapped as a national speaker, provides insight on findings from our National Benchmarking Survey as it relates to wellness and is a sought-after source for articles regarding her field of expertise. She is a long-time subject matter leader in Gallagher’s North Central Region State of the Market report.

Professional Development:

Prior to joining Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (Gallagher), Ali spent four years with Motorola, Inc. as a Senior Wellness Coordinator. Through this experience, she gained first-hand insight regarding the value and importance of benefit design, health initiatives and education in the workplace. She helps her clients improve their employee retention and productivity through successful population health strategies and implementation. Additionally, she focuses on innovative methods to help lower company healthcare costs and improve overall morale.

Ali is a graduate of The University of Iowa with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and Health Promotion. She also holds a Masters of Science degree in Health Promotion and Human Resource Management from Nebraska Methodist College in Omaha, Nebraska. She is an avid marathon runner with 37 marathons completed, six time Ironman finisher, level one USATF coach and group fitness instructor.

• Ali has successfully overseen the on-boarding of additional wellness talent, providing both mentorship and training expertise. She has helped her team understand and realize the value of taking an integrated approach to wellness, and her efforts have proven instrumental in securing a significant amount of new business throughout her career at Gallagher.

• Often tapped as a keynote speaker at various industry association events, Ali has increased Gallagher’s marketplace visibility as a wellness leader through recognition earned by various branch offices.  Ali has also presented at past wellness trade events and business professional organizations, and she has earned the perennial respect of her colleagues and peers for her vast knowledge of wellness and her innovative approach to benefits solutions.

• Ali’s consulting expertise led Gallagher’s Minneapolis branch to be recognized as a multi-year winner of the Hennepin County Worksite Wellness Gold Award. Many of Ali’s clients are also winners of this award.

• Ali is also a sought-after contributor and commentator on wellness trends. She has been featured in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, regularly contributes to updates on the current state of the market for Gallagher publications, and is a resource for association newsletters.

Ali’s passion for excellence inspires and encourages the best performance from all her colleagues and clients. Ali does not just "walk the talk," she runs, swims, and bikes it. Ali  is an avid wellness advocate who lives by her values, and devotes her coaching skills and expertise to making a meaningful difference in the lives of her clients’ employees as well as her personal connections. She co-founded a local Minneapolis organization called Club Run and helped guide new runners into the sport. She has completed the Iron Man triathlon multiple times and is dedicated to not only teaching the value of physical health, but also incorporating the lessons that come from a well-balanced approach to total wellness. She is a driver of new ideas and is truly a woman to watch in our field.
