I am a registered nurse in the role of occupational health and safety manager for Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company. I have a certification in managed care and health coaching. I have a strong background in disease management such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, tobacco cessation counseling, nutrition counseling, weight management, and stress management. I have been instrumental in establishing an onsite clinic and fitness center at Grinnell Mutual which has reduced the healtcare cost burden to the company while assisting employees to improve their health status. I have been rewarded and blessed to help people manage their disease or remain low risk and realize better health.
