I am a mother of 3 adult children. When I was in school, I was a cheerleader and athlete, and never struggled with my weight. Not so after having children. I tried many diets, but could never stick to them. My husband and children all became runners over the years, and when I finally joined them, starting out walking and eventually running a full marathon, I was able to lose the weight. It's still a struggle, as I love to eat! But I know how to do it, and enjoy better health and wellness because of the exercise and better eating habits. I am now the Wellness Ambassador for my branch at work.
